We’re doubling down on what sets Colorwave apart: a community-driven approach that connects underrepresented professionals, investors, companies, and allied leaders to build pathways into the innovation economy that unlock career mobility and economic opportunity. Through our programming and relationship-powered ecosystem, we help turn mobility into ownership and generational impact.
Colorwave has supported 620+ participants across 130+ cities, generating approximately $15M in economic impact toward closing the wealth gap. This work breaks network barriers, widens access to innovation-economy roles, and strengthens ecosystems that sustain underrepresented talent long after.

In 2025 alone, more than 75,000 tech workers have been laid off, with Black and Brown professionals disproportionately impacted as budgets and roles disappear. Although these communities represent one-third of the U.S. workforce, Black and Latiné talent account for only 13% of technical jobs, less than 5% of startup executive roles, and collectively receive 2% of venture capital funding.
